Germinating paper - wild radish
Paper made by hand in the museum using 100% cotton fibre. It is ECF (elemental chlorine free) and without additives. The cotton used in the manufacture of the paper comes from the cotton industry’s residual fibres which would otherwise be classified as waste. Cotton fibre contains the greatest percentage (99%) of cellulose found in nature and the lowest content of inorganic material.
