A native of Australia, the Eucalyptus has been spread across regions of the world with similar climates. It grows very fast and produces a good fibre yield. The fibres, generally short, are obtained from the trunk and are used in the paper industry. It is used to make paper for printing and offers good structure, thickness and opacity.
